How to clear target database?

Pro2 6.5

New to this version, how do I generate a sql statement for clearing all tables in the target database?

I believe I can do a bulkload when that is done..

Also, I wonder, I get a lot of these warnings:

Warning, kompis.PersonHist.kjennetegn

 - has a width greater than the max currently allowed.

 - This field will be generated as varchar(max).

 - Any associated Indices will therefore not be generated.

Warning, kompis.PersonHist.barn_merkn

 - has a width greater than the max currently allowed.

 - This field will be generated as varchar(max).

 - Any associated Indices will therefore not be generated.

Warning, the decimal source field kompis.KontoHist.inn_balanse_2

 - has a width (336) greater than the max currently allowed in property MAX_DEC_PREC (28).

 - It will be generated with a total precision of the value in property MAX_DEC_PREC.

 - You will need to modify the generated procedures if this creates a numeric data type overflow.

Do I have to build a program myself, to set sqlwidth? or do Progress have some script that I can run? or is this stuff that I can just ignore?

I can see we can choose:

    • Reload table if already bulk-loaded once yes/no
    • Reset the "in process" load to start over

so I believe I do not have to delete any records in the target? The target was a copy of the original 5.5 sql database... I want it rebuild..

I get this result when I try to run:

Please review and confirm to start the bulk load process.

Number of tables flagged for loading: 0

Number of tables "In Process" of loading: 0

    In Process List:

Number of tables Completed in loading: 0

Tables that will be loaded(Including "In Process"): 0

    Number of Multi-Threaded Bulk-Load Processes: 9

Minimum number of rows to load: 0

Why is no tables flagged for loading ?

The table include list is: *

I have loaded v5 map file for both TBLxRef.map and FLDxRef.map, but where do I find where to do the mapping?

  • Geir Otto Olsen (THInc Consulting AS)

Ok, I start to understand... it is very dynamic.. I have to choose the dbname link to be able to see the mapping with more...
