Pro2 - disable sql index

I am doing a lot of bulkload from Pro2 and wonder if it would be an idea to disable the only index that is active on sql? only when doing bulkload. Is it possible? and would it make the load go faster?

You can sure disable an index, the load should be faster. I tested it in Oracle, not in MS SQL though. How much faster? -- test it.
If you disable the unique index, then you should have a guarantee that the data is clean. Otherwise later the index will not be built obviously.
