Using Visual Studio Code with Roundtable TSMS (Technical Brief)

RTB VS Code 12.8.3 v2We've been seeing more OpenEdge developers talk about and experiment with Visual Studio Code, so we thought we'd share something that may be useful.

 

We recently published a short technical brief and sample implementation that shows one way Roundtable TSMS users can leverage Task and Workspace context to simplify working with VS Code. The utility discussed in the brief is included with Roundtable TSMS 12.8.3.

    This quick video (under 1 minute) shows the process in action, demonstrating how Roundtable TSMS can automatically generate the configuration files required for Visual Studio Code and the OpenEdge ABL extension.

     

    The utility used in the demonstration is included with Roundtable TSMS 12.8.3.
